MAYA : FORGOTTEN MODELS

This week I found a few models from before Christmas that have slipped through and gone
"un-blogged" I have both models of a silo from my very first week of modelling to a temple made just before Christmas, neither of these p[projects are finished but I believe they are worth showing to show progress and just document what I have done.

SILO.

The silo is a pretty simple model and helped teach me some of the basics of Maya and modelling, it showed me how to use edge loops and extruding faces to create indents and surfaces.

TEMPLE 1.

TEMPLE 2.

TEMPLE 3.

The temple was more complicated with its supports etc but being symmetrical helped when creating it.  I think these two models of large buildings show progress. I think the temple needs some more improvements when it comes to structure but this can be done as I change my workflow to better suit modelling.
